Hey all,I recently ordered the necessary parts for the APM. I have received most part, and am only waiting for the controller board from Sparkfun.I have been looking for videos of working/flying airplanes with APM, but have only found a couple.. I have also yet to find detailed reports of people flying with APM. Is the beta code flyable? I have a 1.5m yak54 from hobbyking; will APM with beta code be able to fly it?Thanks so much for for this site, and the involvement from everyone contributing!Regards, Willem

Here is my maiden flight for the new plane with my APM a couple days ago.
Been too windy last few days to fly. Click here for video
Mostly Manual or FBW modes
The beta code is flyable. Most features are working, but a few still have bugs. I have tested all the transmitter switch selectable modes (MANUAL, STABILIZE, FLY_BY_WIRE_A, RTL, AUTO), except I have not tested FLY_BY_WIRE_B. I have tested waypoint navigation, loitering for a set number of orbits, and changing gains in flight using mission planning. Waypoint upload from the ground is not supported yet.
I believe there is a bug in the TakeOff code. There are probably a few others as well, but it is certainly far enough along to be considered flyable. I have some video, but nothing worth posting.
