I want to try making a Canard - Elevon platform for the ardupilot.
The reason is that I can fit all the electronics into the fuselage easily and the control linkages are pretty simple. Another main reason is that CG balance is easy to do while switching around batteries or cameras.
the problem is that, there is no elevon splitting with elevator option right now, but what if I do ailerons, and elelvators, and just use a hardware mixer for the elevons?
another option would be some how geting an AUX channel for elevator set up, if anyone has any experience with this, i would appreciate it.
this is the R/c maiden of my design

It is possible to use digital chanel mixers such as:

all you do is plug the elevator and aileron outputs into the mixer and it will give a combined output signal to each servo on both wings.
Mechanical mixer very easy, use the elevater servo to slide the aileron servo, from which two outputs, one to each elevon.
