Hello, I use attopilot 90a with my quadcopter (MPNG 3.0.1 r4) and it works for me, exactly the same as the APM power module except it does not power the APM board.
In Mission Planner I set:
Battery Monitor > Sensor = Other > APM Version = 0: APM1
