Balancing propellers

I got my first JDrones and I broken the propeller, I supposed that I did something wrong because the drone was moving all in one side instead of doing the balancing.

I was wondering if you can understand from the video ( youtube below ), what can I do to fix the balancing.

I think so that I didn't followed this step: http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/AC2_Props so my drone is trying to fly in the wrong way.

To make sure that my next propeller is not going to break it, I want to check other things but I dont know what.

Thanks

You either followed the instructions or you did not? A balanced prop means that the weight of the propeller is the same from tip to tip and edge to edge. You balance propellers to remove vibration. If you did not follow the instructions with regards to mounting the propellers in the correct orientation and order with regards to their direction of rotation what did you think was going to happen? Bottom line go back and follow the instructions there is little room for error if you want to be successful, pay attention to detail.
