I spent some time flying my HEX in our offices today to test a new camera gimbal, and after about a 2 minute flight I landed to check the footage.  When I went to disconnect the battery, both the battery and the leads from the battery were really warm.

I am wondering if the S3 20c battery is not enough to carry the weight?  It is the Arducopter HEX frame with a custom set of carbon fiber legs and skids and a custom (mostly) carbon fiber gimbal.  I also have an onboard video TX and telemetry and a smaller S3 battery to power the video system.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
