Bergen Tazer 800 - $7500

For sale:

$7500

One complete Bergen R/C Tazer 800 single-rotor helicopter WITH a DJI ACE Waypoint flight controller and a second Tazer 800 WITHOUT a flight controller. Both have JR R921 Spektrum receivers. Please see http://www.bergenrc.com/Tazer.php for more details.

Both Tazers have a platform which attaches to the landing gear that has a spring stabilized plastic plate to which a DSLR camera can be attached. This is not controllable, the camera only points straight down, but vibrations are damped.

Also included is one DJI 900MHz USB data link. The transmitter for this system is installed on the helicopter with the flight controller. The receiver plugs into a laptop running the ground station software.

There is no FPV system on either helicopter.

Battery connections are Deans.

Original price of this helicopter equipment in March 2012 was approximately $15K.

SOLD AS A COMPLETE PACKAGE. WILL NOT BE PARTED OUT.

SHIPPING TO BUYER IS INCLUDED.

NOT INCLUDED:
-R/C Controller – Receivers are included, but the next owner will need to bind them to their own controller.
-LiPo Batteries – Batteries not included... Takes a minimum of TWO 6s batteries in SERIES (50 Volts) for the motor + ONE 2s for the rest of the system. Holds four 6s 6500mAh batteries, two sets of two in series, in parallel + the 2s.
-Battery Charger
-Ground station computer

Possibly included:
If the buyer is interested, we have two large plastic cases that fit the helicopters which can be included for an extra charge.

Known Damages:
Believe it or not, neither one has been crashed, however:
The "complete" helicopter needs its tail rotor drive gears replaced. These are included, but will not be installed. The next owner will need to install them to make this helicopter flight worthy. There is also a small burn mark on the frame from a LiPo incident, but this is merely cosmetic.

The “parts” helicopter needs new linkages installed on the tail rotor. The user can order these parts from Bergen RC.

It's likely that the user may need to assemble a cable or two to connect the batteries as some of the original cables may have been reused.

NOTE: Buyer will be purchasing from Michigan Technological University and will be required to sign a sales agreement prior to purchase. Also sales tax will be charged if picked up or if shipped to a MI address.
