There is a huge range of product out there. You will need to decide the purpose for which you are going to use the gimbal, or the application you are going to use the gimbal in. Also what type of camera you intend to use on the gimbal such as a GoPro, Redlight or any DSLR type camera. Also are you going to use this on a drone, which type of drone ? So your request 'Best Gimbal' is a bit vague or at the least not sufficient information is provided for any positive feedback.

I am ready to move on from just FPV camera and want to attach my GoPro Hero 4 Black to a 3 axis gimbal. Admittedly a complete noob,
The Tarot GoPro T4-3D 3 axis gimbal looked like a great solution until I found out it only is fully functional with the Tarot FC.
So, I'll narrow it down a bit for some good advice. I want:
1) 3 axis gimbal that works with Mission Planner/Arducopter
2) decent quality, reliable and light weight
This will be for a X8 or Y6
p.s. I also have a Vertigo 27x zoom setup never used yet; trying to figure out how to mount it on my Sky Hero Spy 750.
