Hi guys, I figured out that this would be a nice place to post this question.I would like to know what software you are all using to cut/split/splice your movies... it would be nice if it's free but I can invest in this a bit if it's really good. I would like something that works quite well...I've seen things like xilisoft video splitter (not free) that seems good and things like virtualdbu (free) but the last one seems to re-encode and size of split video is huge...That would be good if you could point me out to somewhere where I can learn how to do it rightThanks

As I have made a few quid from doing videos and DVDs of events I can heartily recommend Adobe software. A good start for YouTube is MovieMaker built in to windows though it's not great but if you are just cut and splice it's fine and free. VirtualDub is good although I have only used it in conversions to be honest.
Most of my Nokia phones have had Premiere Elements included so check those boxes :)
@ Dany I use Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0 & Adobe Photo Shop, I've been making short viedo's on the computer since the 90's. It was tough back then. I bought the Adobe Elements and Photoshop as a packaged deal online from Adobe. It will do everything U can dream of, It's very easy to use. The only thing I don't like is that it will need all the computing power it can get. When I edit my video's I shut everything down and turn off my internet connection { WiFi } It works nicely.
I just need a better computer. LOL. You can't go wrong with Adobe. I paid i think $160 for both programs together as a downloaded.
