Hello,
I've been confronted with a big problem.
I am using APM2.5 + the Power sensor board to provide the +5V.
The output JP is removed to provide seperately power to output (gimbal servos).
I experimented with a new PPM converter which didn't work yesterday. The guy who build it said I shoud check power. I did and found 4,4V on the input line.
Then I saw smoke and now lights are out for the APM2.5.
The power-meassurment-module provides 5,3V!
The APM2.5 is still alive, but only when powered directly by ESC on the Input line.
So is there any fuse on the power supply/meassurement port?
I don't know what to do. I am devestated. I need some ideas. Please.

What's the fuse part number ?
Thanks
Same problem, different solution.
I could only arm my APM 2.8 when connected through a USB cable.
I got ~5v on both sides of the fuse, but only on the bottom (exterior) side of the diode. top (interior) side was dead.
I was looking at replacing/bypassing the diode.
I'd previously used ESC's (yes, multiple) and then a UBEC to power the FC. When I instead used the power lead from an APM power module, I then got ~5v on both sides of the diode.
I assembled the works and it all arms/flies fine now.
Worth a shot...
Unsure of the explanation, but it proved a relatively simple fix.
