Well I think I made a big mistake - I may have blown my MUX - On accident I messed up and cross plugged my esc in and may have added power instead of signal to one ESC input - What do I do now?  HELP!!!! Is my MEGA toast?? One ESC just beeps now - RX seems fine - other motors initialize just fine -

  • Thanks guys - I ended up sending it back to spark fun for repair and ordered some extra MUX in case it ever happens again -

  • Use a frying pan to heat the whole board up and pull off the mux chip with a pair of pliers (Don't bump it or other things will fall off!). Then you can use a normal soldering iron to replace it. Another way is to cut all of the pins on the mux or heat the leads one at a time and lift them up with a screwdriver. I had to replace my mux chip as well, it works great now.

    Good Luck!
  • Any US suppliers for thie Digikey seems to be out? Mike
  • I do have a new board on order but I think I read somewhere that it can be repaired with one of these http://uk.farnell.com/texas-instruments/cd74act157m/logic-quad-2-in... - Small soldering but I think I can do it - Can anyone verify that this is the correct MUX? Jordi? I think you repaired one at one time - Thanks guys

  • seems that only one output is blown
you could remap it on one working output (which is not that easy)
    or buy a new APM
