building my own drone

I bought a quadcopter kit called Skyviper E1700 and I put that together to get a basic understanding of drones, but I would like to make my own (not from a kit) now. The kit does not require any soldering, but almost every website and video I have looked at requires electronic speed controllers, motors, and the battery to be soldered to a power distribution board. I also am not sure where the ESCs are actually located on the drone or if they are a part in this kit, but I believe they are an important part of building a drone so I am sure they are somewhere, I just don't know where. I have attached pictures of the board and the motors. Have the soldering steps already been done for me? Where are the ESCs? If I wanted to build and solder this part by myself, could someone help me with a link to the parts I should get?3691371302?profile=original3691371516?profile=original

  • So I haven’t worked on this drone before but i don’t think there is anything you need  to solder

The motors already have connectors. So they can be directly used and can be connected to the controller board.

And for the second part of your Question, I don’t know which part are you looking for, but they will be surely mentioned in the instruction manual for sure.

ok thanks for your help, do you know about which parts have been pre-soldered for me? and what they are called

I don’t think your drone needs ESCs. The motors you are using are coreless brushed motors as shown below

    These motors work without ESCs.

The problem with these motors is the low torque they produce. For higher torque, brushless DC motors are used which need ESCs to operate.
