Prasanna Shevare commented on Dmitry Skotnikov's blog post Outdoor Demo of GET Wireless Charging System for Drones
"Very interesting... Have you also innovated on the charging tech? How does it charge so fast?"

Prasanna Shevare commented on Kristaps Brass's blog post How we spent 8 days on an ice cap in Greenland and found a lost WWII P-38 fighter
"In Greenland, the magnetic declination is about -30 degrees. Did u face any issues with navigation? "

Prasanna Shevare commented on William Premerlani's blog post Acceleration compensation: flight testing
"Hi Bill,
Your research has been very helpful for us to performing swarm based flight.
I was trying to build a position/velocity estimator for the purpose of Navigation using UWB tags. After analysis, I found the velocity estimates were messing up.…"

Prasanna Shevare replied to Yograj Singh Mandloi's discussion Programmable drone (Mini/micro or nano)
"So with what you are looking for I would prefer having more freedom and easily programmable drones
Crazyflie and PlutoX will be the best choices.
Jake Jhonson said:
Could you suggest which do you prefer though? Cause I'm also planning to get one.…"

Prasanna Shevare replied to Hassan Yousuf's discussion Drone motor jerking
"Hi
Firstly just check the connections of RC and try printing the sensor graphs.
If all the connections and graphs are OK then this looks like a PID problem (With Derivative term a bit too high).
With a bit of PID tuning it should work fine.…"

Prasanna Shevare replied to Rob Fairbanks's discussion motor not spinning
"Hi
You can check the RC connection properly.
But this looks more like a loose or damaged phase.
The motor you are using has 3 phase. If one of the three phases is loose or not connected the motor won’t work properly.
The connection problem can be in…"

Prasanna Shevare replied to Maya's discussion building my own drone
"So I haven’t worked on this drone before but i don’t think there is anything you need  to solder
The motors already have connectors. So they can be directly used and can be connected to the controller board.
And for the second part of your Question,…"

Prasanna Shevare replied to Lennard's discussion Which motor for quadcopter?
"Hi,
For a 450mm frame i would suggest you to use 800-1000kv motors for best flight experience. I have tried Emax motors which proved to be quiet sturdy and durable.

Prasanna Shevare replied to David Abineri's discussion Newbie Accelerometer Question
"Yes you do need to use a level changer on  I2C line. You have to use pull up on 3.3V.

Prasanna Shevare replied to Maya's discussion building my own drone
"I don’t think your drone needs ESCs. The motors you are using are coreless brushed motors as shown below
These motors work without ESCs.

The problem with these motors is the low torque they produce. For higher torque, brushless DC motors are used…"

Prasanna Shevare replied to Yograj Singh Mandloi's discussion Programmable drone (Mini/micro or nano)
"Hi Yograj
So there are number of nano drones available that can be programmed so you can even try machine learning algorithmson them. Few of them are:

DJI Tello
Crazyflie 2.0
Pluto X
Parrot Mambo
Codrone Pro
