Camera Basics

Is there a good place to learn the basics about aerial video photography from a drone. Apparently I am confused about how it all fits together. Specifically:

  CMOs/CCTV

   Transmission back to ground.

   XBee????

   Integration with Ardupilot

   Recording

   Overlaying telemetry data

   How to view live imagery on laptop, maybe on Killjoy.

   Is there a suggested setup fot an ArduCopter that will display video on ground station and record high   def on card at same time?

    Looks like you're leaning towards FPV...honestly, there's a lot of information on this, and it's fairly complicated.

    With big subjects like this that are outside of the "drone" scope, RCGroups is usually a good place to start.

    The word doc that is linked to in this first post is very helpful.

    There's a new GoPro firmware that will output video at the same time as recording to internal memory.
