    The standard config for PIDs is done with 3S. If you use 4S you will need to tune your copter. Flight times vary by the way you fly and the weather. Fly hard or fly on a windy day and your flight time is less. Also the weight of your copter relates to flight time add a camera or a gimbal and your flight gets reduced.

    I am using 4S and never would change back.

    4S gives you much more power and my 3100mAh 35C 4S cheap china Lipo from ebay for 23$ gives my hexa with 4x 750kv and 10x4.7 props about 16min of flight (hover) time.

    5000mAh adds a lot of weight to the copter despite the more of power.

    I recommend 5000mAh 3S 11.1V. It should give you about 10 to 12 minutes of flight.
