I have a notebook to run Mission Planner in the field, but when I am home, I'd like to use my desktop.
Is there a problem using two different computers like that? Will settings and such be synced between the two computers? (When Mission Planner connects, it seems to read the settings from the APM?)

And you can set the log download folder to a shared location (e.g. dropbox) to keep them in sync between multiple computers
sure you can use. you just need to set the proper communication port for each computer.
settings (params) is stored / read inside / from of APM.
computer keeps the communication port and eventually some setting for Mission Planner.
