I updated Mission Planner to 1.0.59 hoping to upload Arducopter 2.0.39b, but no success.

a banner pops up:  'Can't detect your APM firmware version. Please check your cabling'

I erased the EEPROM and reset the factory defaults. Mavlink seems to work fine, through xbee and through USB.

What is curious is that there is a quad firmware working on the APM: If I set the radio up, the modes, the esc's, it does work. The artificial horizon is a bit slower than in other firmware versions, but I don't know if that's part of the problem or it's an upgrade.

I haven't been able to fly this APM yet, I seem to have a big PID's setup problem. I have been braking many props and spending time balancing new ones... This set of motors and ESC's has successfully flown already, using a GAUI 344 three axial gyro.
