Can't get Mavlink working on 3.0.1

Hi All

Been running getting everything settled on my quad on 2.9 and now happy to go to 3.01. When I upgrade (no issues) I cannot get Mavlink to connect. Can downgrade and all works but it locks up on sending details across. Gets to a point and nothing. Same on radio or USB. I am using APM2 and XBEE radios still. Tried baud rates, etc,etc., Any one have any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
