Can't get out of bootloader mode on the air module

Hello,

I have some trouble with my air radio module. As I could not get it connected it with my ground module, I have decided to force it into bootloader mode. So I shorted the GND and the CTS pins on my module. It is now on bootloader mode as the solid red LED is now on.

But now my problem is to come out of this mode. So I have bought a USB to FTDI cable that I have connected as follow.

3691058037?profile=originalI have one doubt about this connection. I have followed the colours of the wires, but I have read somewhere that Rx and Tx should be inverted. So can you confirm it is correctly plugged like this?

So now from the 3dr radio config tool, I select the correct COM port 6 with a baud rate of 57600 and click on "Upload Firmware (local)". But I receive the following error: "Failed to identify Radio". Same behaviour if I try any other baud rate.

So if your know how could help me to come out of this situation, this would be very appreciated.

Thank you

Regards

  • It was my mistake. On my FTDI to USB cable, Rx is white and not yellow. With that fixed I could get out of bootloader mode without any problem.
