Can't get two "ground" XBEEs to talk

Hi all

I purchased another XBEE with the ducktail antenna for my plane so I can get further range, but I'm not getting a connection.

I've gone through the steps of programming the XBEEs as found here: http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot-mega/wiki/Wireless

I've set both VIDs to 333

I've set both Baud Rates to 57600

Both XBEE's are reporting XBP09-DP / XBEE-PRO 900 - 232 ADAPTER version 1161.

I've tried switching from master to slave but made no difference.

Is there anything else that I need to do?

    I've now reverted to using a normal "air" xbee for plane-side, still no luck!!
