I am currently doing an underwater drone project. i am trying to connect the drone with an flight controller chip to an brushed motor to stabilize the underwater submarine is it possible to use brushed motor?

I guess you need to adjust the PWM values. Also consider that those ESCs usually also have reverse. I would expect at a 1.5ms PWM pulse with the motor stops. Since multirotor ESCs are usually stop at a 1ms pulse with your flight controller is sending a 1ms pulse with on the beginning, so your motor probably turns in reverse now.

Am currently using an ECS(MC230CR-Futaba) right now, but the current issue right now is when i pluck it in it just spins away!
