Hello,

I just received my new Hex kit in the mail and decided to update the APM board to the newest release but have found that I cannot connect to it.

I'm running Windows 8 with MP version 1.2.32.  The driver is loaded and shows up in my device manager.  I heard the connection tones when I connect and the correct COMM port shows up when I click on the firmware button.  When I click on the "Connect" button the connecting box shows up but no connection is established and it eventually times out.

I thought that I might have a bad USB cable so I replaced that.

I also have an APM 2.0 and using the same equipment I can connect to that unit.

Does anybody have any ideas what I can do to connect to this unit?  Or, is it possible that I received a bad unit when I bought this one?
