Are you sure? Was it installed (and run) using compatibility mode?

I've been running Win7 for a year now on my laptop (first Beta, then RC and then RTM versions) and been happy. Actually, the driver base is identical to Vista.
I do my ESC config on my older Vista PC, but was intending on moving over to the laptop for spring flying season.
