Ceiling Limit

Having had a few successful flights and a few non-successful flight of my 3DR arducopter I have a question which is somewhat along the lines of a previous post about throttle sensitivity.

How hard would it be to limit the ceiling of the flight to say a predefined value i.e. 5 meters from the takeoff altitude.

I am worried about my skill with the throttle and was thinking even if I had full throttle on the control but the ceiling limit would kick in then it would stop my copter getting completely out of control and dropping into someones back yard because it got too high and I couldn't get it back.

Don't know whether this has been discussed before as I am quite new here. Apologies if it has.

  • Has geofencing been implemented in Arducopter? I thought it was only arduplane.
