Center of gravity and PID settings

Hey all,

 

    I have a custom home made frame and noticed with my 2x 2100mah batterys, the CG is about 2.5" below the props. Am I right that the lower the cg is the lower the P will be due to the quad already wants to right itself? If this is so, adding a Gopro under the quad will lower these settings even more? Is there a point where you should not go any lower?

    I have a similar question. I have added a point and shoot camera (~5.5 oz) to the bottom of the quad, and placed a 2200mAh battery at the top to keep the COG close to the prop.

    Should I keep the COG below the prop?

    How far?

    Has this changed from ACM 1.X?
