Code Loading Problem w/EM406 GPS Attached

I have assembled the main board (328) and expansion board (shield) and connected them together. With the GPS attached to the expansion board I am unable to load the code (v2.2.2) from the IDE (Arduino v0016). I am only able to load the code if I remove the GPS.According to the manual I should be able to load the code if the GPS is attached to the expansion board. Is there something I have overlooked possibly?I was able to load way-points from the configuration utility with the GPS attached...Components:ArduPilot 328ArduPilot ShieldEM406 GPS
