Compass problems

After running fine suddenly my compass is stop working. Giving only zero's..

I did read there are some issues with a resistor on the compass board. But i can't find the artikel anymore. Is it possible i need to do that modification??

    Max,

         Here is the article you're looking for.  This will only be a problem if you ordered your mag sometime from about Nov 2010 to Jan 12th 2011.  Previous versions of the mag didn't have the issue, after Jan 12th, all mags from the diydrones had the fix in place.

     

         Can you load and run the AP_Compass example sketch and then post the results here?  You should find the example sketch in your Arduino IDE, under File, Examples, AP_Compass, AP_Compass_test.

    Some extra info: after initializing the eeprom again in CLI mode the compass gives data. But after restart it's not working again.
