Compile Problems on ACM trunk

I've been at this for quite a while now, and need some sanity introduced.

I recently needed to re-install my Windows 7 machine into a VMWare instance.  I'm trying to get this environment set back up.

After a LOT of messing around, if I copy the RC2 libraries into the arduino\libraries folder, it will compile after loading it through the sketchbook menu in arduino.

With the code from SVN, even after I put the libraries in the arduino\libraries folder, I'm still getting compile errors, like it's not finding the libraries....I just had the Mega code working fine from the get-go before....I can't tell what's going on, is there something stupid with my directory structure or what?  I'm missing the obvious....please let me know if you have any suggestions.

THANK YOU

I made some progress last night converting to the new AP_Var libs. We should be back in gear this weekend.

John, the ACM branch moved to the ArduCopter repository a while back. Is that the one you're trying?
  • all responses do show - nobody knows what's up.
there is a new version on the road where a few classes do serialze themself into the eeprom.

using acm 1.02 you have to take the taged version from:
    http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/source/browse/#svn%2Ftags%2FAP_...

and then you can compile it.
the sources from the ng series should be taken from the pirates site.
because this version is not supported here in this forum.

    all clear :)

the arduino ide is a pain in the back.
  • Libraries go at the same level as, not inside of, arducopter folder.
