Hey guys, for the life of me, I can't seem to get the configurator to update the PID values.
The configurator just hangs and freezes when I attempt to update. Both the copter and configurator are in stable mode, and as far as I know, there are no hardware issues.
Has anyone had a similar problem and/or have any tips or advice on how to fix this problem?

what i do is make sure the magnetometer is completely disabled, even in the configurator and im doin all the pid value changes, once i have completed that im goin to reactivate the magnetometer.
JUST MAKE SURE MAGNETOMETER IS DEACTIVATED.
until u finshed all ur pid value changes
otherwise you will have to go bak to CLI and deactivate it.
Possible work around:
Just now I changed some Stable Mode PID values in the configurator, set the Magnetometer to disabled and updated succesfully. I then switched to CLI mode and reactivated the magnetometer from there. When I returned to the configurator, it loaded all my PID values correctly and showed that the megnetomer was indeed enabled. I'm going to go fly right now and see how she does. This issue kept me from being able to try the new GPS functionality. I'm excited!
unfortunately i dont have a xbee.
the reason why i say im in stable is because when u put your mouse over the PID values it says to be in stable mode.
im glad im not the only one.
yeh the configurator freezes and then loses connection.
flight software version 1.54.
i do have it working now when i disable the magnetometer and not set my rc into stable mode.
but i want to b able to change the PID easliy straight after flight, and have my magnetometer active.
should i b able to do this??
tryed that still didnt work.
i get into the configurator and all the values are working everythings moving correctly.
but when i go into stable mode to try and change the PID values it just freezes then i have to wait about 20 secs before i can reconnect.
Randomly it does work but then stops.
