Maybe I'm blind and don't have enough caffeine yet. Nowhere on the 3DR site, the ardupilot manual pages, or DIYdrones wiki pages, does it say how to connect the minimOSD to a PC. All it says is "connect to the computer and use the configuration tool". Ya, that's really helpful. Leaving out a bit of detail, like how. I have the configuration tool downloaded. But nowhere anywhere does it say what cable or how you connect to the thing thing.

If you are referring to the 3DR MinimOSD, then the way that you connect the OSD to the PC is through the six pin header connector at the end of the board.
You will need to solder a six pin header to the board and then use an FTDI cable to connect the OSD to the PC.
