I have some questions regarding servo reversal in Mavlink, Simulator and Radio.
I have to reverse the rudder and elevator on my Futaba radio to get the correct direction on the surfaces. It would appear this reference is independent from Mavlink and the DIP switches. I had to reverse Rudder and Elevator to get the proper deflection directions.
Now to set the autopilot control directions, I have to set the direction in the Mavlink. I see the green bars move around, but the manual doesn't state which direction is which.
I thought the X Plane simulator would show me if I had set the autopilot servo directions correct in Mavlink. But inside X Plane, the control surfaces all move in reverse of what I wanted.
So in order to get the correct direction in X Plane, I use the rudder and elevator reverse boxes in the Simulation window.
So I realize that the simulator, autopilot and actual RC servo directions are all independent of each other....which means I still can't figure out which direction is which when I move the green bars around in the Mavlink Radio Input window.
So how do I figure this out?

typicaly in xplanes you dont need to tick any box's. so its just your rc.
