Just a heads-up to the community: your batteries may not be what you think they are. These were purchased off eBay and were advertised to be brand new 7.2v 5300mAh Ni-MH batteries. They were actually very old 1300mAh Ni-Cd batteries.

Wow they must be antique...
I've "been had" on eBay, too. One vendor sent me what was supposed to be a 5000 mAh 30C pack and it might have been only 3C at best, even though it was indeed labeled 30C. Their solution was to send me another equally useless pack. I don't think the seller ever actually understood why I was unhappy. Perhaps both et caveat emptor and venditor apply.
