I've taken to using the do_digicam_control parameter in the survey tool when setting up mapping missions.
This gives me the camera command timestamp in the log, which I can then use for georeferencing the images.
However, unlike the servo command, I cannot figure out how to set any of the parameters and have resorted to using a script editor to change the command in the mission. Now this is relatively trivial with a find & replace, but not something I really want to do in the field, should I need to change the mission, so I would love to be able to set that.
Is it possible to request that as a feature?
I did look into possibly compiling my own version, but I could not find out where the relevant code was.
My programming skills are limited, so it's also a route I'm reluctant to start on.
Anyone else come up with a solution to this?
