DISARMED FAILSAFE NO RC RECEIVER

I have a tricopter 3 motor version.  All was running well and I was learned how to fly it pretty well.  Then i upgraded Firmware to V3.2.1  I had all kinds of problems.  I finally have everything down through calibration.

What happens now is I can finish Radio calibration but when I go to Arm Down and to the Right  the lights flash like it is going to arm but the Mission Planner gives me a warning FAILSAFE NO RC RADIO.

How is this, it sees the radio during calibration?

Anyone have ideas on how to get this going/

      Anybody understand the No RC receiver message when the radio is clearly send signals to the APM (the arming was triggered by the radio sticks so how can there be no receiver?)

          No but I haven't been working on it. I did have a crash which may have damaged something but that error message doesn't make sense since it doesn't appear until I use the radio to arm. I'll give it another try but I have other apms which I could try. Or I might change FC altogether. I rather like the mission planner though.
