I'm running out of space on my quad frame, and the only empty space I've got left is right in front of my Pixhawk. If I mount any components there (using sticky pads), the SD card will no longer be easily accessible. Do I really need it to be accessible at all if I can just download logs through Mission Planner?

The only issue I can think of is that the Pixhawk refuses to power up when the SD card runs out of space. If there's a way to clear the card through Mission Planner, then this won't be an issue either.

No. You can pull any logs you need out over USB or the telemetry radio. I never take out the SD card.

    • Can I delete the logs through telemetry as well? If so, how do I do it with Mission Planner?
