Hi-
I have a dynam hawksy with ardupilot mega and mediatek gps setup. onboard battery is a 3 cell 11.1V 1800mah which powers everything, including the Speed 400 motor and my futaba 7c radio. what im interested in figuring out is the average endurance for flights. i know this depends on motor speed and the amount the servos are used. since i monitor battery voltage with HappyKillmore GCS, wouldnt it be easier to end flights prior to a minimum voltage? So, for my setup, what would be the minimum safe voltage for everything onboard to operate safely?
Thanks
Erik

I plan on making a UAV with this model and what I plan to do is attach a sensor that monitors the battery so reguardless of how its flown your always be able to tell battery is low before it runs out so it can be brought back. This way if it flys in a way that heavily drains it batters then it will not crash from not returning soon enough and if it flys in an efficient way it will not come back earlier when you really could have kept it out longer. From what I read you can fly this with stock battery, motor, etc... anywhere from 20 minutes to 40 mintues depending on how you fly it.
Also could you measure the internal dimensions of the plane for me. I need to know how much space it has and the shape of that space before I can decide to buy this plane or not.
