Hi Guys,

I was wondering, why are some industrial inspection drones not effected by EM frequencies? How are they manufactured to not be effected by EM freq?

rip out the proprietary flyaway-autopilot ?

Seriously, if it had decent sensors and software to begin with, it would not be so prove to magnetometer errors as is during normal flight.

For "industrial" drones, it's most often something the marketing department decided. Just like their fantastic flight times you never see in real life.
:)
Some may do as Ardupilot, by having more than one sensor, working on different sampling frequency, and processing data thru EKF, a typical EM fields like high voltage lines are not a problem at all.
