After doing ESC calibration, if we switch transmitter on then connect battery to apm 2 board, even if the apm 2 red LED is solid state, and in armed mode, the transmitter inputs doesn't response to the esc.  It will only stay in its standby mode. Only when we directly connect the ESC to the receiver of the RC, then only we can control it to start the rotor. We are having trouble on this issue. Don't know where is the exact problem to this. Can anyone help us?

  • Have you done a radio calibration.

I have experienced this on a few occasions and a radio calibration solved the problem.

Any change of receiver or radio, even if it is exactly the same type, will require recalibration.
