Hello everybody I bought a Chinese version on the APM 2.6 board with an external compass and GPS
The same as on this picture.
My problem is the compass is never pointing the same direction even after calibration on the Apm planner.
So I decided to buy an external compass on internet, and here is my problem, the one that 3dr sell on there website is different from the one that I bought, the 3DR as more "chip" on the boar.
This is the one that I bought. (HMC5883L Triple Axis Compass Magnetometer Sensor Module For Arduino)
And this one is the 3DR one.
Is there any chance that replacing the compass on the GPS by the fist picture chip will work ?
because I tried everything I could with the actual one. If i unplug the compass, the board set the north
on its booting position.
