Hi,
I'm trying to configure failsafe on my APM 2.5 and I configured my frsky receiver to go down to 985 (minimum sent by the radio is set to 1015 otherwise when throttle is at 0) on the throttle channel when in failsafe and auto land mode.
While bench testing it, I realized there's a 1 second delay when powering off the receiver between the moment the throttle goes to 985 and the moment the APM realizes it's a failsafe.
To me 1 second is way to long as in flight it would most probably have flipped when auto land is finally engaged
Is this normal
Thanks

Frsky has failsafe on all channels. Use that to select mid-throttle, neutral controls and RTH behavior directly. The throttle-based failsafe behavior is only really needed for old radios which only had FS on the throttle channel.
