I have failsafe setup on my copter so that if you lose radio contact or radio power, it will RTL.  Now I was playing around on the bench to day and came across something that I do not understand.

If you are in any mode except STABILIZE, when I flip the radio off,  the copter shows on the APM as ARMED, RTL .   Then when I switch the radio back on it goes back to the mode I was in previously, remaining ARMED.  This is okay.

If I am in STABILIZE Mode and do the same thing with the radio, it DISARMS and no RTL.

I would think regardless of mode, it should always RTL.

Have I done something wrong here??
