Dear all,

I didn't found any information about how we could upload firmware in the APM using the Mission Planner if we don't have Internet connection (for example on the flying field).

The firmware itself is available for download but it is not a .hex file. It is another workaround there or the only way is to compile the file with Arduino and then upload as a custom firmware? If no other way, could somebody describe a little bit more detailed how to do that? In the wiki the information is very poor.

In the other hand I am now a bit confused where could we found now the new MP release note on the Github. Before was easy to find on the Ardupilot changes repository to read what is new before to perform the update.

Thanks in advance!

currently you need to be connected to the internet to get new firmware. other than that you could download the code and compile it yourself offline.
