Hi I recently brought a DIY quadcopter drone of amazon and put it together and can't seem to get it to take off I was wondering if any one had any idea to why this is happening I would greatly appreciate it also I was wondering about the propellers in which way they are put on.

Since you have not clearly mentioned where you are facing problems i would like to suggest you to first of all check if all the components are in working condition.
Few things you can do is check if the transmitter and receiver is properly linked. Check the motor and ESC’s directions. Check if all the motors are propellers balanced. The propellers need to be calibrated and connected properly. Here’s a video
