Fitting servos into Easystar

I am working on my ardupilot and I am currently trying to fit the servos I purchased into my Easystar. I bought the servos recommended http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDEL5&P=0 and they seem quite big for the slot already cut out of the easystar. Before I start carving up the easystar to make the servos fit, is there a different servo i should consider or is it normal to simply modify the plane? Thanks. Jay

I use a regular TowerPro 9g servo... something like this... (http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=...)

But it has a TowerPro label. :D
