flight modes stuck in pos3.

Great community! 

I am just starting in this new hobby UAV/FPV, setting up APM for first time and stucking setting flight modes.

I have already setup and connected my radio it seem went OK. because test radio I can see the changes in channel 1 - 4. Next step was to set up flight modes.

I have JR 10x helicopter version transmitter and I can program 5 flight modes combing gear switch and 3 position flight modes through Aux1 channel, I was able to see the setting in PWM test shows me all the timing at channel 8, but in fligh modes setup screen shows only pos 3 flight modes and APM doesn't sees the changes in flight modes switch setting.

 

anything, please help.

    Thanks Chris for replying.

     

    I have attached few pictures, like my connection, and CLI screen shots.

    On web instruction didn't mantion extra channel for Flight Modes switch input other then Autopilot control channel, should I need to connect Flight Modes input to another channel in APM? if so which one? it seem its looking at other then channel 8 in the APM.

    Please post your CLI radio setup output with all RC channels connected. Needless to say, you have to have all the channels, including the mode switch channel, connected when you set up your radio.
