Frame addons for visibility (LEDs, Paint....)

Maybe a thread for the general topic of adding some extra attributes to each frame arm for direction orientation and just good looks.

My initial take on this is I will spray three bars black and the forward one in a light orange.

I will later add some LED arrays as I see some people do for night flying and find the best way for turning them on/off. And maybe LEDs that illuminate motor mounts once I figure out the best LEDs to use.

Keep ém coming, what are your recommendations for suppliers, tips and tricks on setting things up ? Colors conventions,, Switches, even lighting remote control ?

I´m almost done mounting motors and I begin to really appreciate the design of the kit components. Well thought out.
I´m happy I went for painting the aluminium arms before assembly, it makes the copter look more product like.
Also the longer cables of the motors and the openings in the arms makes for a nice look having the cables run inside the arms.

I saw in the motor mounts there are 4 things labelled as "LED covers", but I don't see in none of the videos/wiki docs what they are for, and where they have to mounted.
Led are controlled from the APM I think.
The wiki paga http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/ArduCopter_QuadIntroduction says "User configurable LED flight pattern"

Is there a way of controling leds with the IMU relay?
How is this done?
