Hi droners. I've finally unpacked my two minimOSD boards, soldered the connections and flashed the firmwares. After overcoming the "Waiting for Heardbeats" issue (had serial3_baud set to 9 instead of the required 57), I'm getting the "Update Charset" issue. For whatever reason, the minimOSD gets three CR/LFs from the APM2 and goes into update charset mode. This means I have to manually reset the OSD each power cycle. On the forums, some people suggest commenting out the code that enters charset mode. Sounds easy; how do I do that?I've downloaded the source code via svn and loaded it in Arduino. I assume development is not via Arduino IDE, however, as it won't compile - there's no board option for a raw At328. I can't find any info on the development environment. Can any developers chip in?I'm also interested in adding a few features to the minimOSD firmware. I'm disappointed to note that there is no variometer, which I find invaluable for gliding (which is my usual FPV activity). I'd also like to try my hand at implementing functional pitch and speed ladders, if nobody has done that already. To summarize:* Is development on the minimOSD firmware active?* How do I build/develop/upload/debug minimOSD from source code?* I want to implement a variometer (and also glide slope, azimuth and other glider features).* I want to implement pitch/speed ladders. Is anyone else working on this?* How do I join the development community once I've got some working features to share?Keep Blimpin'Fête Mobile
