Gimbal Setup

Anyone running a gimbal on their helicopter?

Curious if someone found the best route for taking vibration out of the camera while in flight and in a hover? 

Care to share?

      UAS,  Joe Nall looked good.  Gopro?  Headspeed?  Any neutral density filter used?

        No Filter used. Yes GoPro, 1230RPM on the head.

    Sean,

    I'm using a tarot 2D and a Hero 3 Black.  Everything works pretty well.  I had to find a good headspeed that didn't cause a vibration issue.  Running 1550 RPM all is jello free.

      I am pretty set with my head speed which is right around 1150 RPMs. I need a certain amount of pitch for the weight I am running.  Right now I have a vertical bounce in my video from the blades swinging by. I need to figure out the frequency of the AC to figure out what isolators will work with my setup.  

      I am using a Arris 3-axis gimbal which is really nice.

        Is it vertical jello or just a sharp vertical movement up and down.

            Sean,

            I had that problem when my camera when it was hard mounted to my frame.  Once I put the gimbal on it the problem was solved.  I've got a 3 axis gimbal being delivered tomorrow that will hopefully take care of the yaw movement I have not been able to get rid of with PID tuning.  I think its my governor tuning that is causing the problem and will continue to play with that.
