Am very curious, what is your opinion on the flight characteristics with the mounts off center all pointing in the same direction. Should it not give the same characteristics as the mounts centred parrel to the arm? One would think that the forces are still equal hence it should fly like normal.

The guys already answered but to help visualization i mocked up a quick diagram (ms paint)to show it would be the same as rotating all arms to the right CW
There is one factor, which I presume you already took into account - the placement of your motors/rotors is offset, so keep in mind that certain components related to Autopilot etc need to be positioned right, facing directly forward for instance - such components should be oriented according not to the arms and frame, but according to the actual positions of the motors/rotors themselves.
As long as all your motors are normal to the ground and your mounts/arms do not twist under load, then there is no difference mathematically. In practice, you may notice yaw if they twist. Your mounts also block more of the thrust than conventional mounts. Just thoughts.
