Am very curious, what is your opinion on the flight characteristics with the mounts off center all pointing in the same direction. Should it not give the same characteristics as the mounts centred parrel to the arm? One would think that the forces are still equal hence it should fly like normal.

Was thinking the same thing, but how much offset would this require. Was thinking of +5, but can see that the KK2 board only allows increments of +- 45 and +- 90
you must rotate it physically the correct amount of degrees to get it right.
Otherwise, you have round arm profiles, if any mount get even a little bit loose, it will rotate, (=crash)
Also, this kind of mount have larger area exposed for the downwash from the propellers = reduced effeciency.
