Hi -I have been doing some research on GPS enabled still cameras. I understand that the Nikon Coolpix P6000 is pretty good. Is anyone flying a gps still camera and do you have any thoughts to share? We are flying a twin boom easystar and currently we use a flip HD and I pull stills from that.thanks,Doug

Thanks for the help on the GPS cameras. We have added a co-pilot stabilizer and are still flying manually. Hoping to step up to an autopilot system soon but right now trying to have as many options as possible.

explains how to use GPicSync, NMEA log from the autopilot, time stamps from jpeg photos
in order to obtain perfectly matched positions.
The GPS position from the autopilot is best, why to restrict yourself to GPS-enabled cameras.
You need to look at the new Samsung, ST1000, or the GPS add on for several Sony Cams as well, oh the Sony camcorder comes with GPS built in these days as well. How good any of them are, I don't know. I can see having poor quality GPS locations being a pain.
